Dear Korean friends,

It would have been my pleasure to be with you for your first congress. It hasn't been possible for this year but I hope once and soon, to share with you science and pleasure in your wonderful country. Sexual Health is not anumore a dream but a reality ,YOUR reality. Attending this congress is for you the sign of your involvement in this field of Sexology we are proud to support at WAS. Too many people are suffering from problems of sexuality which damage dramatically their vision of life and don't allow couples to express their sexuality. I hope this congress will help you to have a better approach of symptoms which, most of time are more than symptoms, and drop us inside of a world of loss of intimacy and deny of Sexual Rights. I'm proud of your society which opens freely the debates and dream of having more and more members. We need you in Korea and inside of WAS to push us to the best for our patients who are the same elsewhere. You are belonging to the ASIA and OCEANIA Federation of Sexology and ,as President of WAS I would like to push you to attend Bombay next year, where Dr Kothari is preparing a wonderful congress. As you see we are ready to work together and it's time because our patients won't wait ANYMORE.

한국에서 대한성학회의 첫 학술대회를 갖게 됨을 축하하며 매우 기쁘게 생각합니다. 한국과 같은 훌륭한 국가에서 아직은 몰라도 곧 과학과 즐거움이 같은 몫을 하게 될 날이 오기를 바라마지 않습니다. 성 건강이라는 것이 이제는 기적이 아니고 현실인 시대가 되었습니다. 여러분 모두의 현실이 되는 것입니다. 오늘 이 학술대회에 오셨다는 사실이 이미 우리세계성학회가 자랑스럽게 후원하고 있는 성학 분야에 깊이 관여하고 계심을 증명하고 있습니다. 현재 많은 사람들이 여러 가지 형태의 성과 관련된 문제들로 서로의 성적 표현마저 못함은 물론 때로는 미래마저 파괴되고 있습니다. 오늘의 이 학술대회가 여러분의 친밀감의 손상이나 성적 권리에 대한 부정을 초래하게 하는 증상이나 문제들을 해결하는데 큰 도움이 되기를 바라마지 않습니다. 저는 여러분의 성 학회에 대하여 자부심을 갖고 있으며 여러분들의 학회가 모든 문제점들을 자유롭게 토론하고 또 많은 회원을 확보하시기를 기대합니다. 한국 뿐 아니라 세계성학회의 차원에서 우리는 여러분들을 필요로 합니다. 세계 어디서나 볼 수 있는 동일한 문제점들을 안고 있는 모두에게 도움이 되기를 바랍니다. 여러분은 아시아 오세아니아 성학회 연합회의 회원이기도 합니다. 저는 세계성학회 회장으로서 여러분이 내년 봄베이에서 열리는 국제학회에 참석하시기를 원합니다. 코타리 교수가 아주 훌륭한 학회를 준비하고 있습니다. 여러분들도 아시다시피 이제 우리들의 환자들은 더 이상 기다릴 수가 없습니다. 우리 모두 함께 매진합시다.
